Training course: Self-reliance in the wilderness

Jenny will teach you various aspects of self-sufficient living: the garden and how to maintain it; natural meals; lacto-fermentation; making rustic baskets from garden and forest finds; building with natural materials: wood, earth, aerated concrete, stone; different types of natural insulation; recovering materials and how to reuse them : pallets, earth, tires; collecting rainwater, using it wisely, treating it upstream and downstream using phytodepuration; wood-fired heating, how to use it, how to collect the ashes and make your own washing powder to wash and scrub everything; transforming the orchard and vegetable garden into various body-care products, eg: making balms; renewable energies and their use: photovoltaic and thermal; gathering edible and aromatic plants; natural paints (lime, linseed oil) and their use; earth and lime plasters; how to use garden tools. The course will be enriched by a number of speakers, including a workshop on dehydrating food and raw cooking (Sylvie P.), homeopathy to treat plants and the use of the pendulum (Luciana). As a gift, you'll receive a guided tour of a permaculturalist's garden, a visit to the farmers' market in the village of Sospel, and one shiatsu massage per person (Sylvie B.). MEALS : All meals are at your own expense. You'll have all the crockery you need, plus an outdoor cooking area dedicated to you. PARTICIPANTS : This course is designed for all those who wish to settle down in nature and aspire to a life of autonomy and symbiosis with the environment. You'll need to be in good physical shape, as the course is essentially practical.
