Description
The Roya breeders' association is organising the transhumance festival in Castérino, an ancestral tradition which consists of taking grazing animals to spend the summer in the high mountains.
On the schedule:
- All day: local farmers’ market, farm animal exhibit, and live music by DJ Domino
- 5:00 PM: Herds passing through the hamlet of Casterino and blessing of the herds
Meals can be enjoyed by making a reservation in advance at one of Casterino’s four restaurants or on-site with grilled local meat.
