The refuge has served as a shelter since 1977, it is managed by the CAI Bordighera section,has the possibility of 50 beds and is equipped with a restaurant with 80 seats. It has a night shelter for bikes, a charging station for e-bikes and the possibility of using a small workshop for repairs. It's placed in a favorable position for undertake excursions of great naturalistic, scenic and historical interest
