Description
Stalls selling low-priced used books for children and adults as part of European Heritage Days at the Fontana Rosa Garden of Novelists.
The Fontana Rosa Garden is a garden designated as a Historic Monument that offers a charming stroll with Spanish flair, designed by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez. With its gazebo, benches, and pergolas, everything here evokes the patios of Andalusia and Valencia.
In 1922, Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, a politician and writer, purchased a property called Fontana Rosa in the heart of the rural village of Garavan. There he found what he had long sought during his life in exile: peace and seclusion. He patiently created a corner of his native Valencia within this garden: ceramic tiles with historical motifs, pergolas, ponds, and flowerboxes with vibrant decorations.
