Leaving behind the village of Triora (775 m), you reach the medieval church of San Bernardino, known for its beautiful cycle of Renaissance frescoes. From there, follow the path that descends toward the rocky gorge of the Argentina stream, eventually reaching the hamlet of Loreto (elevation 642 m).
After crossing the modern single-span road bridge and admiring the majestic limestone cliffs that define the narrow valley, turn right into the woods and begin the demanding ascent that leads to Colla Belenda (1,383 m). From there, another easy 3 km along the quiet provincial road brings you to the panoramic stopover point at an elevation of 1,542.5 m, offering a direct view of the limestone group of the Toraggio-Pietravecchia mountains.
